Our Tiny Tike Riding Lessons are specially designed for young horse lovers ages 4–6 who are just beginning their journey in the horse world. At this age, learning should be fun, safe, and full of discovery and that’s exactly what our program provides.

In each lesson, children are gently introduced to the basics of horseback riding while building comfort and confidence around horses. Students learn how to safely approach, lead, and ride a horse at an age-appropriate pace, guided by experienced instructors who understand how young children learn best.

But riding is only part of the experience. Our Tiny Tikes also learn how to care for their horses through hands-on activities like grooming, understanding basic horse behavior, and learning how to properly treat animals with kindness and respect. These early experiences help children develop a meaningful connection with the horses they ride.

Spending time around horses teaches valuable life skills that extend far beyond the barn. Through their lessons, children build confidence, patience, responsibility, focus, and empathy. Working with these gentle animals encourages kids to communicate clearly, stay calm, and develop trust—important skills that benefit them in everyday life.

We offer instruction in both Western and English riding styles, allowing students to explore different disciplines while developing balanced, effective riding skills. Lessons are tailored to each rider’s goals and experience level, helping them progress at a comfortable pace while building confidence in the saddle.

Beyond riding, we believe great horsemen and horsewomen are made on the ground as well. Students learn essential horsemanship skills including grooming, tacking up, safe horse handling, and understanding horse behavior. By learning how to properly care for and communicate with horses, riders develop a deeper connection and partnership with the animals they work with.

For riders looking for excitement and a unique challenge, we also offer Mounted Shooting lessons. This fast-growing equestrian sport combines horsemanship, speed, and precision in a fun, adrenaline-filled environment. Riders learn to navigate patterns on horseback while safely using mounted shooting equipment, all while maintaining proper riding form and control of their horse.

Beyond the arena, time spent around horses teaches valuable life skills including patience, responsibility, focus, perseverance, and confidence. Horses have a powerful way of helping riders grow both as equestrians and as individuals.
