At Heart on Target Horsemanship, our mission is to empower individuals of all ages through the experience of horseback riding and hands-on horse care. We believe that time spent in the saddle and in the barn builds more than riding skills — it builds confidence, resilience, responsibility, and connection.

Through compassionate instruction, supportive mentorship, and meaningful partnerships with our horses, we create a welcoming environment where riders feel encouraged to grow at their own pace. Whether someone is taking their very first ride or advancing their horsemanship skills, we are committed to fostering courage, leadership, and self-belief every step of the way.

By nurturing both horse and human, we strive to cultivate strength of character, a spirit of encouragement, and a lifelong appreciation for the powerful bond between people and horses.

We are located in Lakeville, MN and boast a wonderful facility with both indoor and outdoor arenas which allows our riders to enjoy horses all year round. Our indoor arena is directly attached to our 14 stall barn. Our riders also enjoy the outdoor round pen and obstacle course.

Our riders learn horsemanship through mostly Western riding. We also offer English Equitation and Dressage lessons. All education is based on the riders personal goals and how to gain a positive connection and relationship with the horses.

We offer riding classes for all ages and levels of riders.

Our beginner riding program is a fantastic way to get introduced to riding and how to care for horses.
